The 10th Extra ordinary General Meeting of Padma Oil Company Limited was held virtually through Digital Platform on Saturday.
The meeting was chaired by Chairman of the Company's Board of directors and former Secretary to Government of Bangladesh AKM Zafar Ullah Khan.
Key participants included directors of the board Anupam Barua, Md. Zakir Hossain, Md. Tarikul Islam Khan, Kutubuddin Akhter Rashid, Company's Managing Managing Director Engr. Md Abdus Sobhan, CFO Kanchan Chandra Shom, FCMA Company Secretary Ali Absar and BPC Officials were present on the occasion.
The shareholders approved the special resolution to change the name of the Company to "PADMA OIL PLC." from "PADMA OIL COMPANY LIMITED" in accordance with the Companies act, 1994 (2nd amendment 2020).
