With the theme "Let’s Change the Nation, Let’s Change the World," the Youth Festival 2025 was celebrated across 17 unions in Patiya Upazila.

Patiya Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Farhanur Rahman addressed the event as the chief guest while Local Government Engineering Department (LGED)'s Upazila Engineer Kamal Kanti Pal, Assistant Engineer Anupam Sikder, and Sub-Assistant Engineers Shafiqul Islam and Apu Ahmed were present as the special guests.

The program was attended by officers in charge and secretaries from various union councils, coordinators of the Upazila Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, local dignitaries, and representatives of the young generation.

While addressing UNO Farhanur Rahman said, “Today’s Bangladesh is for the youth. Since gaining independence in 1971 and overcoming numerous challenges, Bangladesh has been rebuilt through resilience and determination. I pay homage to the valiant soldiers, students, and citizens who sacrificed their lives to establish this independent nation.”

“The youth are the architects of modern Bangladesh. We must never overlook their potential. It is the youth who step forward in times of crisis, offering hope and solutions. When I see their efforts, I am filled with optimism and want to shout with joy—‘Yes, they can!’ Our politics, development strategies and future plans must center around the youth,” the UNO said.
