The Teachers' Association of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) on Sunday hosted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) alongside a farewell ceremony for three retiring faculty members.
The event was held at the Academic Council Hall of CUET. Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, Vice-Chancellor of CUET, attended as the chief guest while the meeting was presided over by Professor Dr. G.M. Sadiqul Islam, President of the Teachers' Association.
During the meeting, Professor Dr. Md. Arafat Rahman, General Secretary of the Teachers' Association, presented the annual report, while Treasurer Monowar Wadud Hridoy delivered the financial report. The event was moderated by the Association's Public Relations and Social Welfare Secretary Md. Asifur Rahman.
The farewell ceremony honored Professor Dr. Mahmud Omar Imam from the Civil Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Faruk-Uz-Zaman Chowdhury from the Physics Department and Associate Professor Md. Nazrul Islam from the Mathematics Department for their dedicated service to CUET.
