Shah Emdadia’s ’Qarze Hasana’ Initiative for poverty alleviation

The Shah Emdadia Self-Reliance Welfare Trust of Maizbhandari Darbar Sharif launched a poverty alleviation program titled ‘Qarze Hasana’, aimed at empowering underprivileged individuals. Under this initiative, CNG autorickshaws, private cars, and laptops were distributed among those in need. Beneficiaries are encouraged to achieve self-sufficiency and, in turn, help others through the same initiative in the future.

In celebration of the 200th birth anniversary of Gausul Azam Maizbhandari Shah Sufi Syed Ahmad Ullah, the event was organized on on Sunday at at Maizbhandar Darbar Sharif in Fatikchhari in Chattogram under the patronage of Hazrat Mawlana Shah Sufi Syed Emdadul Hoque Maizbhandari, the Sajjadanashin of Gausia Ahmadiya Manzil and the supervision of Syed Irfanul Hoque Maizbhandari, Nayeb Sajjadanashin, Chairman of the Maizbhandari Foundation, and Managing Trustee of the Darul Irfan Research Institute (DIRI).

Seven underprivileged individuals received CNG autorickshaws and private car, while laptops were distributed to 20 Polytechnic College students.

Syed Irfanul Hoque Maizbhandari presided over the event while Hazrat Mawlana Shah Sufi Syed Emdadul Hoque Maizbhandari distributed the vehicles and laptops as the chief guest. Engineer Palash Kumar Barua, Principal of the Bangladesh Korea Technical Training Center in Chattogram, and Kalyan Nath, Principal of Katirhat Women’s Degree College were present as the special guests.

Speakers praised the ‘Qarze Hasana’ initiative as a groundbreaking step toward poverty alleviation. They said that its dual impact: empowering the underprivileged to become self-reliant and inspiring them to uplift others, fostering a ripple effect of social development. The event also reflected the vision of Maizbhandari Darbar Sharif in creating a compassionate and self-reliant society.

Syed Irfanul Hoque Maizbhandari emphasized that such initiatives exemplify Maizbhandar Darbar Sharif's commitment to moral, humanitarian, and economic development. He expressed confidence that these efforts would instill values of ethics, self-reliance, and humanity in future generations, ensuring sustainable progress for the nation.

However, certificates were distributed to 60 trainees of the Shah Emdadia Automobile Driving Training School, enhancing their employment opportunities.
