A publication festival was held at Maizbhandar Darbar Sharif in Fatikchhari in Chattogram on Tuesday. The event was presided over by Syed Irfanul Hoque Maizbhandari, the Naib Sajjadanashin of Gausia Ahmadia Manzil while Maulana Shah Sufi Syed Emdadul Hoque Maizbhandari, the Sajjadanashin of Gausia Ahmadia Manzil, addressed as the chief guest.

The event was graced by the presence of special guests, including Syed Erham Hossain; Dr. Sheikh Sadi, Professor of Bangla at Chittagong University; and Dr. Sheikh Makbul Islam from India, Dr. Md. Ahmedul Kabir, Professor of Theatre and Performance Studies at Dhaka University; Associate Professor Dhiman Chandra Barman; and Associate Professor Dr. Shahman Moishan, Dr. Masum Ahmed, and Munmun Nesa Chowdhury of Chittagong University, Nadira Islam, Mishkatul Momtaz, and Koushik Ahmed of Music department, Mohammad Muhiuddin from the Accounting Department, Kazi Md. Saiful Achfia, Assistant Professor of English at Chittagong Independent University, and Dr. Shamsuddin Shishir, Syed Ayaz Mabud, Cultural Officer at Chattogram District Shilpakala Academy, participated as special guests at  the festival. 

Syed Irfanul Hoque Maizbhandari said, “Sufi philosophy encourages moral and spiritual development. This publication festival will play an important role in spreading knowledge and establishing moral values in society.”

Chief guest Maulana Shah Sufi Syed Emdadul Hoque Maizbhandari remarked, “Sufi ideology is not just a guide for spiritual progress; it also lays the foundation for humanity, tolerance, and social harmony.”
