Police have arrested 10 activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) in Chattogram. This information was given in a press release sent by the Public Relations department of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) on Sunday morning.
The arrestees are Sabbir Hossain, 23, Mohammad Sajid Irfan, 20, Kamrul Islam Wasim, 19, Sajjad Hossain Maruf, 20, Abu Bakar Siddique, 23, Mohammad Shahid Sabbir, 22, Tanmoy Das, 23, Niloy Shil, 23, Kaushik Dhar, 22, and Solaiman Ahmed, 25.
Sabbir Hossain is an active leader of Chittagong Metropolitan Muktijuddho Chhatra Mancha. Under his leadership, the activists of the banned Chhatra League were preparing for the procession. On the basis of secret information, they were shown arrested in a specific case from Naval-2.
