The practice of religion helps people to develop as ideal human beings with moral sense. Chittagong University (CU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Yahya Akhter speaks as the chief guest at a discussion organized by Sanatan Dharma Parishad, Chittagong University (CU) on the premises of North Campus Central Temple on Monday.

The Vice-Chancellor said that the practice of knowledge is a very sacred act. All educational institutions in the world are fertile fields of knowledge. Along with the practice of knowledge, the practice of religion helps to build ideal people. A true religious practitioner can never be involved in any kind of injustice, injustice, corruption, violence etc.

We all have to be developed as human beings with the light of knowledge by staying on the path of purity, truth, beauty, welfare and justice. The Vice-Chancellor urged all to keep a vigilant eye so that the atmosphere of living of people of all religions through harmony is not destroyed under any circumstances.

The meeting was presided over by Professor Dr. Tapasi Ghosh Roy, President of Sanatan Dharma Parishad, CU.

CU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof Dr Mohammad Shamim Uddin Khan, Pro-VC (Administration) Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin, General Secretary of Sanatan Dharma Parishad Prof Dr Sajib Kumar Ghosh, former Vice-Chancellor of BGC Trust University Prof Dr Saroj Kanti Singh Hazari, Principal of Ramakrishna Mission Sebashram Chattogram Swami Shaktinathananda Maharaj, Convener of CU Central Temple Management Committee Prof Dr Anjan Kumar Chowdhury, among others, were present on the occasion.
