An accident occurred in Thakurgaon district when a truck lost control and collided with a tree. In this incident - 1 person was deceased and 3 people were injured. The incident took place at Salandar Chowdhury Hat in Sadar Upazila of Thakurgaon district on Thursday (4 May) afternoon.
Thakurgaon District Fire Service and Civil Defense Station Officer Sarwar Hossain confirmed the matter.
The deceased Masud Rana (34) was a resident of Purba Dalia village of Ullapara police station in Sirajganj district. Injured Hasem Ali, Mohammad Shalin and Shalin Hossain live in the same village. They are farmers by profession.
Sarwar Hossain said the incident took place on the way to Panchagarh by truck to buy cows from Sirajganj. A businessman died on the spot. The remaining three have been rescued and admitted to the hospital. In this regard, the police station is preparing a case, said Kamal Hossain, the officer in charge of the Sadar police station.
