Two motorcycle riders including a student were killed in a road accident on Narail-Magura road in Kagojipara area under Sadar upazila of the district on Thursday (12 October). The deceased were identified as Badsha Molla, 45, son of Nabir Molla, and a second-year student Kafhil Sheikh, 24, son of Sabur Sheikh. Both hailed from Mithapur village under Lohagora upazila of the district.
The accident took place at the midnight last night when the motorcycle from Narail collided head-on with a Trally in the area, leaving the duo motorcycle riders dead on the spot.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Narail Sadar Thana Obaidur Rahman said police recovered the bodies and sent those to Narail Adhunik Sadar Hospital morgue.
Police seized both the vehicles, the OC added. A case was filed in this connection.
