Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained Jane Alam, a listed top terror of Raozan thana with two single-barrel guns from the Kadalpur area under the Raozan upazila of the district on Saturday night.
A joint team of RAB and police arrested Jane Alam, an accused in six cases in Chattogram in a series of drives, RAB said.
At least six criminal cases including drug trading, repression to women and timber smuggling were pending against him with different police stations in the district, the sources added.
