Police in a drive arrested three suspected muggers from Karwan Bazar area of the city.
The arrestees were identified as Md Shakil, 29, Sajib, 19 and Md Malek, 33.
Tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive in Karwan Bazar area and arrested them on Tuesday (25 June) night, said Mohammad Mahsin, officer-in-charge of Tejgaon Police Station.
Two knives and a blade were recovered from their possession.
The arrestees have been involved in snatching mobile phones and moneybags from the people in the area, said OC.
