Awami League Presidium member and former Dhaka-7 MP Mostofa Jalal Mohiuddin has been arrested. Mohiuddin was arrested from Monsurabad Housing Society in Dhaka, said DMP Deputy Commissioner (DC-media) Md Talebur Rahman.
Elected from Dhaka-7 constituency with the ticket of the ousted Awami League, Mohiuddin is accused in several cases, including murder. Police are yet to brief the media on the charges and cases over which he was arrested.
