The way Bangladesh can move forward

The emergency period should be passed with utmost patience. We can express anger and hatred towards those who have brought our society and state to the brink of destruction by the government's party politics for so long, but we must refrain from injury. Although Bangladesh was under a tyrannical government for the past 16 years. They have completely divided the society. Even so, those whose houses and businesses are being burnt today are your brothers, friends or neighbours. In the anti-discrimination movement, the students wanted quota reforms in government jobs. That movement turned into a mass uprising of students. But its traces will remain for ages. With this spirit and belief, the new generation is dreaming of building a new modern Bangladesh today. Non-discrimination system should be introduced in all cases.

We have many big factories in the garment industry of Bangladesh. So, Bangladesh is a country with many potentials. What a modern and tidy factory. These industries play one of the biggest roles in the country's economy. It enriches our country by bringing in foreign currency. Even if all groups of companies pay VAT and taxes properly, it won't take much time for our economy to turn around. Another is expatriate income which we call remittances. We call migrant workers remittance warriors. Their contribution to our economy is huge. If they fully give their money from abroad through banking channel, it can also bring a change overnight for us.

Now a few words about the law-and-order forces. Police in modern country is the name of dependency. When someone is in danger, the first thing to do is to turn to the police. And their problems are solved very easily and seamlessly. And in Bangladesh, police are the name of terror. Even if someone is in great danger, they still don't want to go to the police. And if you go, you have to be harassed instead. Bribe trade in the name of settlement in every police station. Hence comprehensive reform of police is now most urgent.

A few words about the health sector. Do you know how many patients go abroad for treatment from Bangladesh every year? The number is supposed to exceed lakhs. In India alone, thousands of people visit doctors throughout the year. But why is there no good doctor in our country? No good diagnostic center? There is but no trust and faith. Doctors have sold their consciences to drug companies and diagnostic centers except for a few. So, a lot of work needs to be done in this sector.

The education sector is in turmoil now. Young students are not good at conducting various tests on the education policy of the former government. They and we as parents are very worried about this. Therefore, ongoing curriculum changes are very important. If you can move forward together, good luck awaits you.
