The issue of anarchy on the road is widely discussed. A major problem in this sector is extortion. Since the anti-discrimination student movement, regulators in various sectors have covered up. At present, even if the extortionists are not violent in the city transport sector, the collection of extra fares has not stopped. Transport-related experts say that since there is no additional cost on the road, it is now possible to continue the passenger service by charging a lower fare than the prescribed fare. It is learned that BRTA's latest fare list reflects the wishes of bus owners. According to the information published in Yugantar, additional fare has been collected in the public transport of the capital on Saturday as well. BRTA fixed fare list is not seen in any transport.

Apart from this, the supervisors do not have the e-ticketing device that was launched a few days ago. They collect the rent as they wish, but there is no one to see it. Recently some initiatives taken by the students resulted in order being established on the roads. Now that the activities of all the educational institutions of the country have started, naturally they have concentrated on their studies. Sadly, the order established on the road by the efforts of the students is no longer visible. For the past two days, as before, the scene of buses stopping in the middle of the road in the capital and picking up and dropping off passengers is visible. Overtaking tendency of various vehicles is also seen everywhere. Pedestrians were also seen crossing the road risking their lives.

In fact, due to irregularities and mismanagement, the country's roads and highways have become terrible death traps. Millions of illegal vehicles are running on the road. The matter of concern is that the initiative to restore order in the roads and highways of the country is not visible at all. As a result, accidents are happening one after another. According to experts, the main reason for the chaos in the transport sector is the lack of professional attitude of the officials concerned. The question is, why are they not brought under accountability? The lack of good governance in the transport sector is also widely discussed. So, it is important to ensure good governance in this sector.

In fact, the task of establishing order on the roads in this populous country is difficult. In order to be successful in this work, timely steps must be taken. The problems are identified. Now it is necessary to implement it with timely planning. The authorities must be strict to restore order on the roads. However, if corruption cannot be prevented, it is doubtful whether the desired results will be achieved.
