A total of 3,56,500 primary applications have been submitted for admission to the undergraduate programme in the 2023-2024 academic year at Rajshahi University. Prof Pradip Kumar Panday, administrator of RU public relations office confirmed yesterday.
After scrutiny, the selected students can submit the final application from 26 January to 11 February in four phases. 7200 thousands students can application per Unite, pandy said.
He said, 1 lakh 30 thousand applications have been submitted for 'A' (Humanities) unit, 88 thousand 300 in 'B' (Commerce) unit and 1 lakh 38 thousand in 'C' (Science) unit. A student can apply to more than one unit. As such, the number of single application students is 1 lakh 94 thousand 566.
The university authority has fixed fees worth 1,100 for final application for ‘B’ (Commerce) unit and Tk 1,320 for ‘A’ (Humanity) and ‘C’ (Science) units respectively.
Prodip Pandey said that admission tests for ‘C’ (Science) units will be held on March 5, while march 6 and march 7 have been fixed for ‘A’ (Humanity) and ‘B’ (Commerce) units. Every day, four tests, from 9:00am to 10:00am, from 11:00am to 12:00 noon, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm and 3:30pm to 4:30pm, will be held.
Each of the tests will be 100 marks and there will remain 80 multiple choice questions.
there was scope of appearing in the entry test for the second time this year like the previous year.
