The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS), in collaboration with the Belt & Road Chinese Center (BRCC), successfully hosted the Chinese Government Scholarship 2024 Enrollment Examination for the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) across three nations – Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Indonesia – on Monday (15 January).
This synchronized examination marks a significant milestone in fostering international academic collaboration, solidifying the commitment of UITS to nurturing global educational opportunities for students in Bangladesh. This landmark event saw nearly 150 dedicated examinees from different Bangladeshi universities vying for scholarships to pursue their academic aspirations at HUST, a beacon of scientific and technological brilliance in China. This event highlights the commitment of UITS to foster global educational opportunities for students in these countries and beyond. It also highlights the growing academic ties between these countries and China, facilitated by initiatives such as the Belt & Road Chinese Center. The examination was conducted in a fair and transparent manner, with strict adherence to international standards. We are proud to be part of this initiative and look forward to continuing our work in providing world-class educational opportunities for students in these countries. We believe that through such collaborations, we can contribute to the development of a global community of scholars and researchers.
The Chinese Government Scholarship program is a prestigious initiative that aims to foster international academic exchange and cooperation. The 2024 enrollment examination is a crucial part of this initiative, providing an opportunity for students to pursue their studies at HUST, one of China's most esteemed universities known for its focus on science and technology. HUST is a comprehensive research university located in Wuhan, China, and ranked 8th in the Best Chinese Universities Ranking and #275 in the 2024 QS World University Rankings.
Following the examination, HUST conducted an insightful seminar session, meticulously designed to unveil the expansive scope and transformative potential of the Chinese Government Scholarship program. This session served as a wellspring of invaluable knowledge, empowering students with comprehensive information about the program and embarking on an academic voyage at HUST in Bangladesh.
