Classes in govt primary schools rescheduled amidst cold wave

The schedule for the classes in government primary schools has been changed following country wide cold wave.

According to the new schedule, the classes in primary schools will begin at 10am instead of 9am.

Incidentally, A mild cold wave is sweeping Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and some districts of the country and it may continue. According to the regular weather bulletin, “Mild cold wave is sweeping Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and Jashore, Kushtia, Chuadanga, Tangail, Madaripur and Kishoreganj districts and it may continue.”

The lowest temperature 8.1 degrees Celsius was recorded in Naogan’s Badalgachhi upazila and Dianjpur while the highest temperature 27.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Cox’s Bazar’s Teknaf upazila, reads the bulletin.

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.

People of the country, especially in the northern part, have been experiencing severe cold for the last couple of days that has thrown normal life out of gear.
