Milestone College has achieved unique success in the 52nd winter sports Competition organized by the Bangladesh National School, Madrasa and Technical Education Sports Association. Students of Milestone College participated in a total of 54 singles and doubles events and won prizes in 48 in the Uttara Thana level sports competition. prizes include 39 first place and champion titles and 9 second place and runner-up titles. Adviser of Milestone College Colonel Nurun Nabi (retd.), Chairman of the Governing body Mamtaz Begum, Principal Mohammad Ziaul Alam, Senior Director (Administration) of Milestone College Md. Masud Alam congratulated the participating and winning students and all concerned for the great success of the 52nd Winter Sports Competition.
The 52nd Winter Sports Competition 2024, Uttara Thana Level Sports was held at Milestone College Permanent Campus Grounds located at Diabari, Uttara. The competition starts from 15th January and ends on 20th January. On the last day, a colorful prize distribution ceremony was held at the Kamaluddin Seminar Hall of Milestone College. Honorable Member of Parliament of Dhaka-18 Constituency Md. Khosru Chowdhury was present as the chief guest in the ceremony. Honorable principals of educational institutions under Uttara Thana participated in the prize distribution ceremony.
Honorable Member of Parliament Md. Khosru Chowdhury in his speech lauded Founder and Advisor of Milestone College Colonel Nurun Nabi's for his unique contribution in the education sector. He advised the students to be good people besides practicing sports.
