Format of the Competition
The Inter-College Quiz Olympiad is structured in a way that ensures maximum participation and engagement. The competition is divided into two levels – the college round and the final round.
College Round :
In the initial stage, students compete within their own college. This level allows participants to engage in friendly competition with their peers, creating a sense of camaraderie within the institution.
Each college conducts its own internal quiz, and the winners move on to represent their college in the final round.
Final Round :
The winners from the college round of different colleges then compete against each other in the final round. This stage elevates the competition to a broader scale, pitting the best minds from various institutions against each other.
The final round covers a wide range of topics, ensuring that participants need to be well-versed in diverse fields to emerge victorious.
Judging Criteria
The Inter-College Quiz Olympiad not only tests the participants' factual knowledge but also places a strong emphasis on their analytical abilities. The following criteria are considered in judging the participants:
Depth of Knowledge: Participants are expected to have a thorough understanding of various subjects, showcasing their depth of knowledge in general affairs, science, history, literature, technology, and sports.

Awards :
Prizes for the winners of the inter-college quiz competition at Presidency University have been designated. Both the college round and the final round will feature rewards. In the college round, the champion is set to receive BDT 3000, while the 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up will be awarded BDT 2000 and BDT 1000 respectively. Meanwhile, the final round will see the champion, 1st runner-up, and 2nd runner-up securing BDT 50000, BDT 30000, and BDT 20000 respectively.
