On the occasion of the 49th founding anniversary of Dhaka Metropolitan Police-DMP, a chocolate festival was held at Uttara Milestone College like other educational institutions of Dhaka city. In the presence of hundreds of students and teachers, the chocolate festival was held at the permanent campus of Milestone College in Diabari, Uttara.
At this time, the officials of Uttara division of DMP handed over chocolates and a greeting card to the students. On the occasion of 49th year of DMP, the students will have the opportunity to express their own thoughts about the police in the card containing sincere wishes of Commissioner Habibur Rahman.
Deputy Police Commissioner of Uttara Division Md. Shahjahan PPM was present at the chocolate festival. Uttara Division's Additional Deputy Commissioners of Police, Assistant Commissioners of Police and Officer-in-Charge of Turag Thana Mohammad Mostafa Anwar participated in the event. Principal of Milestone College Mohammad Ziaul Alam, Senior Director (Administration) Md. Masud Alam were present at the DMP's Chocolate Festival.
It should be noted that Dhaka Metropolitan Police-DMP started its journey on February 1, 1976. Today DMP is a symbol of absolute trust to the masses.
