Canadian University of Bangladesh's (CUB) EduTech Consortium, in collaboration with the Computer Society Club, organized a workshop on '3D Printing with Ultimaker Cura' on Saturday (10 February), at its Rooftop venue.
Dr. Shahjahan Mahmood, CEO of Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited (BSCL), graced the occasion as the chief guest.
In a quest for excellence, innovation, and dynamic collaboration, CUB introduced the transformative industry-academia collaboration institute, the EduTech Consortium, under the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSC).
The workshop on ‘3D Printing with Ultimaker Cura’ aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of 3D printing using the Cura software. Attendees learned to effectively navigate Cura, prepare 3D models for printing, and troubleshoot common issues by the end of the workshop.
The welcome address was delivered by Prof. Dr. Miftahur Rahman, Director of the EduTech Consortium, Head of CSC, and Dean of the School of Science and Engineering at Canadian University of Bangladesh.
The workshop was conducted with the support of Corporate Partner GenZERO.
Prof. Dr. Gias U Ahsan, Pro VC and Acting Vice-Chancellor, chaired the session and concluded with a vote of thanks.
