JnU ‘Land Law Club’ gets new body

A new committee has been formed of the 'Land Law Club' of Jagannath University. Md. Sajib Ali and Md. Antor Hossain are made president and general secretary consecutively.

On Thursday, February 15, the director of the club, assistant professor of the Land Management and Law department, Rafea Khatun, announced the committee. Meanwhile, assistant professor of the department, Ayesha Saleh, has taken over the responsibility of the new director of the club.

The other members of the committee are: Kazi Noor-e-Jannat as vice president, Md. Showrav Islam as joint secretary, Parvez Talukdar as treasurer, Sohanur Rahman Sani as office secretary, Tahsina Nayma Khan as communication member, Wahid Sami Sajib as media member, and Tohura Anjum, Md. Habibul Bashar Habib, and Sadia Sharmin Rahman Labiba as programme members.

It is to be noted that the club was formed in 2020 under the Department of Law and Land Management at Jagannath University to make students interested in various aspects of land law, other legal subjects, and co-curricular activities among students.
