Smart Bangladesh Run 2024; was organized on Saturday (17 February) morning at Hatirjheel by the Department of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS) and stakeholders step into the future, Run for Mission 2041; as the main goal of this race was to build a united society by creating smart citizens through a healthy lifestyle and reach the target of building a smart Bangladesh by 2041.
The program is held in two categories of 7.5 km (open) and 1 km (disabled only), people of different ages and professions participate in this competition. The race started at 6 am.
From scholars Anirban Sarkar, Assistant Professor, EEE Department and R H M Atif Wafiq, Assistant Professor, Business Administration Department, along with many other students like Zahidul Arif, Shanto, Arif, Margh among others participated in this competition and successfully completed it.
They thought that through this type of competition, they would be able to develop, not only physical fitness, but also spread the message of unity and solidarity among all. All the participants were in a festive mood.
And it is hoped from that, through this kind of organization, all the students will be able to reach the target of
building a smart Bangladesh by 2041.
