A colourful freshers reception, prize giving ceremony and cultural program was held on Saturday ( 24 February) at Milestone College. This wonderful event was organized in the vast grounds of the permanent campus of Milestone College located in Diabari, Uttara.
Principal of Milestone College Mohammad Ziaul Alam presided over the ceremony while as the chief guest Member of Parliament of Dhaka-18 Constituency Md. Khosru Chowdhury was present. As special guest Adviser of Milestone College Colonel Nurun Nabi (retd.) was present in the joyous arrangement. Executive Principal of Milestone Preparatory KG School Rifat Nabi Alam, Senior Director (Administration) of Milestone College Md. Masud Alam, Dhaka North City Corporation 53 No. Ward Councilor Bir Muktijoddha Md. Nasir Uddin were present the Colourful programme. About 10 thousand students, teachers, vice-principals, college directors participated in the freshers reception ceremony.
The eye-catching performances of the students like solo and group songs, dances, drama and fashion shows during the cultural program impressed everyone. Popular singer Sabrina Ehsan Porshi's performance was the centerpiece of the cultural event, adding even more delight to the Freshers ceremony's aesthetics.
