On the occasion of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's 104th birth anniversary and National Children's Day, a painting competition titled 'Bangabandhu and Children of Tomorrow' has been held at Jagannath University (JnU). More than three hundred children participated in it.
On Sunday (March 17), the competition was organized by the Jagannath University Cultural Center.
The University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sadeka Halim, inaugurated this competition. She said that such arrangements are very effective in the development of children. Children will learn about today's day and Bangabandhu from a young age. Children will grow up according to Bangabandhu's ideals. It will capture the spirit of Bengal.
Jagannath University Cultural Centre president Tamjida Islam said, Our cultural centre always organises drawing competitions on the occasion of Children's Day. The number of contestants in this event is higher than other times. The event has become a spectacle as there are more competitors.
