Mobassera Become the President of the Bangladeshi Students Community in Türkiye 

Mobassera Jahan Fatima, a Ph.D. researcher from Ankara University Journalism Department, has become the president of the Association of Bangladeshi Students in Turkey (ABAST), an organization representing Bangladeshi students in Turkey for a century. Besides, Abdullah Al Mahmud and Mehedi Hasan have become the organization's general secretary and organizing secretary. Also, a hundred-members committee and the City Ambassador team will serve for the following year.

Mobassera Jahan Fatima completed her graduation and post-graduation with honors from the Department of Communication and Journalism of Chittagong University. She has worked as a fellow at the Science and Technology Research Institute of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK). Before that, she worked as a researcher at the Migration Research Foundation (GAV) in Türkiye.
She did his second master's degree from the Department of Journalism at Gazi University, Ankara, under the scheme of prestige Turkish Government scholarship. Besides, she served as the vice president of the Chittagong University School of Debate (CUSD).

Abdullah Al Mahmud has completed his graduation under the scheme of prestige Turkish Government scholarship. He is pursuing his postgraduate studies in the Department of International Trade and Finance at Düzce University, Türkiye. In addition, Mehedi Hasan graduated with the distinction of being the first in the department under the Turkish Government Scholarship and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Marketing at Marmara University.

Nazmul Islam, Assistant Professor and head of Asia and Indo-Pacific Studies in Türkiye, approved the committee on behalf of the ABAST advisory board at the Dhaka Lounge Cafe Restaurant and Cultural Center in Istanbul. 
Mazharul Islam Robin, Assistant professor of Istanbul Zaim University; Waliullah, assistant professor of Kabi Nazrul University; Minhajul Abedin, Ph.D. researcher, and Shihab Ahmed, eminent businessman and CEO of Ottoman Group were also present in the committee formation ceremony.

Since its inception, this organization has been working for the betterment and development of Bangladeshi students in Türkiye. The organization published an online magazine named 'Anatolia' to maintain the practice of the Bengali language abroad and inform the outside world about Bangladeshis' status in Türkiye. Moreover, ABAST gives detailed guidelines to Bangladeshi students regarding higher education in Türkiye.
