IU ‘D’ unit viva-voce to begin June 1

The viva-voce of the admission seekers who came out successfully in the ‘D’ unit intake test under the Theology and Islamic Studies faculty for the 2023-24 academic session of Islamic University in Kushtia will be held from 1st to 3rd June.

A notice, signed by IU acting registrar HM Ali Hasan, was issued in this regard on Tuesday.

The first merit students’ viva-voce will be held from first June to June 3 on the 4th floor of the university’s Arts faculty Building from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in those days.

The selected admission seekers should be admitted from first June to July 09 and will deposit the necessary papers including admit card, SSC-HSC/equivalent admit card, mark sheet, registration card and certificate, eight pieces of passport size photo and fees to chairman, dean and hall provost office.

Admitted students can submit applications to the academic section between July 10 and 13, if they want to change departments.

In case of vacancy, a second merit list will be released and the viva-voce of the newly selected candidates will be held on 14th and 15 July. They have to complete the admission by 16 July, the notice said.

Earlier, the university authorities took the admission test of theology and Islamic studies faculty separately on May 12. A total of one thousand four hundred and six students passed the admission test against 320 seats.
