Milestone College has achieved the honour of becoming the champion in the anti-corruption debate competition held by the Anti-Corruption Committee-Dhaka Uttara Region.
The competition was organized by the Anti-Corruption Commission, Integrated District Office, Dhaka-1. Debaters from 8 reputed educational institutions in the Dhaka Uttara region participated in it. On (8 June) The competition was held at BAF Shaheen College Kurmitola.
In the competition, the Milestone College debating team beat the Dhaka Cantonment Girls Public School College debating team to become champions. Milestone College student Shishir Akhter Mim was adjudged the best speaker.
Principal of Milestone College Mohammad Ziaul Alam, Senior Director (Administration) of the college Md. Masud Alam and Milestone College Debating Club Moderator Shafayet Uddin congratulated the Milestone College debating team and all concerned for their unique achievement in the anti-corruption debate competition.
Principal Mohammad Ziaul Alam said that such an achievement is a matter of pride for Milestone College.
He thinks that any anti-corruption event involving students creates awareness among people, and the field of honesty practice of students is created.
