Amidst the ongoing issue of quota reform, students from various factions including the Bangladesh Students League (BSL), Socialist Students' Union (SSU), Socialist Students' Front (SSF), and general students at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) have separately organized protest rallies and assemblies.

In response to what they claim as an insult to the spirit of the Liberation War and attempts to distort the Prime Minister's statements, the BAU branch of BSL held a protest march.

On Monday (July 15) at around 3:30 PM, over a hundred activists and leaders of the BSL commenced a protest march from their party office. The march traversed various streets of the university, concluding at Mukta Mancha after passing in front of the Vice Chancellor’s residence.

A rally was held there with over a hundred BSL leaders and activists in attendance. During the rally, BAU BSL President Khandaker Tayefur Rahman Riyad stated, "Under the guise of the quota movement, an anti-government movement has been initiated. Those who have branded themselves as neo - Razakars, we declare war against them."

Protesting against the attacks on students at various universities, the BAU units of the SSU and Socialist Students' Front also held a protest march. At 4:30 PM, they started their march from Abdul Jabbar Mor, which passed through KR Market and concluded back at Abdul Jabbar Mor. During this time, Chhatra Union leaders vehemently criticized the Prime Minister's statements and condemned the attacks on students across the country.

Simultaneously, general students at BAU protested against the discriminatory quota system in government jobs and the attacks on students at different universities. Their protest march started from Mukta Mancha and ended at Abdul Jabbar Mor, where they held a road blockade and protest assembly. Approximately a hundred students participated in the protest march and assembly.

Protesting student Soumi Barua said, "Our movement is justified. Despite submitting our memorandum 24 hours ago, the government has not taken any effective steps. We do not want our movement to be prolonged. We urge.
