National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) has announced that the new curriculum has not been canceled.
In a statement issued on Saturday, August 10, the NCTB clarified this matter.
The NCTB mentioned that the new curriculum has not been canceled; rather, a training workshop has been postponed.
Regarding this, the Chairman of the National Curriculum and Textbook Board, Professor Farhadul Islam, stated that no decision has been made regarding the cancellation of the new curriculum.
He further mentioned that the cancellation of the curriculum or any related decision is a state-level decision, which cannot be canceled by them alone.
When his attention was drawn to the information circulating on social media, he said it is a rumor and misleading information. He explained that there was a four-day workshop in Bogura related to the curriculum, which has been temporarily postponed. That’s all there is to it.
