A 16-member full-fledged executive committee of BGC Trust University Bangladesh Debating Club was formed on Sunday.
Professor Dr. A.F.M Aowrangazab, vice-chancellor of BGC Trust University Bangladesh, announced the committee. Later, the VC conducted an oath taking to the newly formed executive committee members.
Anisur Rahman of English department was elected as president and Kuslob Kumar Nath of department of Journalism and Media Studies was elected general secretary of BGCTUB Debating Club.
The other office bearers are: vice-presidents Md Rokunuzzaman Siddique and AKM Fahim Chowdhury, joint secretaries Tausif Kamal and Rafsanur Rahman, treasurer Animesh Bhattacharjee, debate and practice secretary Sanjidul Islam Saimun, assistant debate secretary Shahrier Taufiq Nadim, organizing secretary Nowshim Anzila, media and publication secretary Faruk Mohammad Tasrik, assistant media and publication secretary Nurnabi Shawon, executive members Afifa Muntaha Nubla, Muinuddin Chowdhury, Md Nazim Uddin and Tarequl Islam.
BGCTUBDC's chief adviser Nowrin Afrin presided over the inaugural programme while the VC Professor Dr. A.F.M Aowrangazab addressed as chief guest and registrar (acting) Dr. S.M Shoaib addressed as special guest.
Kuslob Kumar Nath and Nowsim Anzila jointly conducted the programme while BGCTUBDC's advisors and faculty members of BGCTUB Md Reduanul Haque, Yasir Silmy, Zinufer Yeasmin, Mahbuba Khanam Shorna and Rezuana Haque were present at the programme.
