Department of Accounting and Information Systems (AIS) of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia in collaboration with Bangladesh Accounting Association observed the International Accounting Day amid festive manner.
On the occasion a rally was brought out in the campus. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah led the rally began from BBA faculty and ended at the same place after parading the main roads of the campus.
Dean of BBA faculty Professor Dr Shelina Nasrin, chairman of AIS department Professor Dr Jakir Hossain, Professor Dr Mizanur Rahman, Professor Dr Abu Sina, Professor Dr Kazi Akhtar Hossain, Professor Dr Abdus Sabur, Professor Dr Ruhul Amin and students of the department joined the rally.
Dr Shelina Nasrin said, accountants are working towards maintaining transparency in the global economy.
She recalled the contribution of all who are part of this rapid transformation.
