Assistant Professor Mahmudul Hasan has been appointed as the new acting chairman of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism at Comilla University (CoU).
The university registrar Md. Majibur Rahman Mazumder signed the appointment on Thursday (November 14).
According to the notification, in accordance with section 24 (3) of the Comilla University Amended Act, 2013, the next senior faculty member, assistant professor Mahmudul Hasan has been appointed as the acting chairman of the department with effect from November 15, subject to the approval of the authorities as the term of the previous acting chairman assistant professor Kazi M. Anisul Islam ended.
