Today, the Multi-Purpose Hall of BRAC University was abuzz with excitement as Its Humanity Foundation on Universal Children's Day successfully hosted its Annual Science Fair, "Joy of Innovation," powered by East Coast Group and Azimur Rokia Rahman Trust. And supported by BRAC University, Urmi Group, AlBaik, Orenda and Beans, Waffle Up and Chaldal.
IHF Schools including SpaandanB, KK Foundation, Ignite School, Doyel School, Aim Initiative Foundation, Hashimukh, Antora Safe Shelter Home, and Switch Bangladesh Foundation, a total of 12 teams presented their innovative science projects to an enthusiastic audience, demonstrating solutions to real-world challenges.
The fair featured an environmental awareness drama, adding an extra engagement layer. It delighted both children and adults while emphasising sustainability. The event ended with a medal, certificate, and goodie bag distribution for the participants and two celebrations of the champion and runners-up teams. Project Garden in Small Space from Switch Bangladesh Foundation was declared champion, with Project Mobile Clinic from IHF School, Tongi Campus winning the runners-up prize.
Additionally, seven BRAC University Leadership Development Forum (BULDF) volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure the event's success, exemplifying the spirit of collaboration and service.
The "Joy of Innovation" Science Fair exemplifies IHF's dedication to empowering young minds with opportunities to engage in STEM and environmental education. The event reinforced the importance of partnerships in fostering innovation, sustainability, and lifelong learning.
