Chittagong University authorities on Sunday introduced ‘E-mailing Certification Service’ for its students to simplify the process of collecting and correcting academic certificates. Through this service, students can obtain their certificates without any hassle.
CU vice-chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yeahia Akhter inaugurated the service at the university’s Controller of Examinations office on Sunday.
The event was chaired by Controller of Examinations Professor Dr. Enayet Ullah Patwari and acting registrar Professor Dr. Mohammad Saiful Islam was present as the special guest.
“With the E-mailing Certification Service, students can track updates on their applications. They will be notified via email once their application is received. If any errors are found, instructions for correction will be sent. For correct applications, students will be informed of the date to collect their certificate via email,” said Professor Dr. Enayet Ullah Patwari.
“In urgent cases, students can collect their certificates within three days. For regular applications, the process will take seven days. This service will be fully operational starting January,” he added.
VC Professor Dr. Muhammad Yeahia Akhter said, “This initiative aims to reduce the inconvenience for students who travel from distant locations. Once their certificates are ready, they will be notified via email and can collect them at their convenience.”
