A seminar on "International Space Station (ISS) based STEM Education" was held at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology on Tuesday.
Department of Research and Extension organized the seminar at the university's academic council room where CUET vice-chancellor Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan addressed as the chief guest and Professor Dr. Sajal Chandra Banik, director of the Department of Research and Extension, presided over.
CUET VC said, "The type of education that is being discussed the most around the world is STEM education. Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics these four subjects are abbreviated as STEM Education. The impact of STEM education is everywhere in people's lives at this time. This education encourages you to dream big."
Former VC of CUET and Professor of Civil Engineering Department Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam, member of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission Dr. Imtiaz Kamal, founder and president of STEMX-365 Mizanul Haque Chowdhury, Lecturer of Nuclear Engineering Department Kazi Kamrun Nahar Ananya were present at the event.
