Eastern University celebrated a farewell program named “The Final Chaptar of Prosthan” for Spring- 2021 students on 18 December 2024 at its Playground. The program welcomed distinguished special guests, deans, faculties and honorees who added to the grandeur of the occasion. The Vice-Chancellor of the university Professor Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossain was present as the Chief Guest. As a Special Guest Professor Md. Shamsul Huda, Treasurer of Eastern University were Presented in the program. Nazla Fatmi, Director Admission & Monirul Islam, Deputy Director, OSA were Coordinated the program.
The program started with the speeches of the teachers and outgoing students of the university. Following this, the university’s own student band took to the stage, captivating the audience with their musical talents.
The highlight of the event was the highly anticipated performance by "Highway," the popular band known for their electrifying tunes. Their performance had the crowd on their feet, creating a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.
The event was graced by Chief guests Professor Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossain, Vice- Chancallor of the university who delivered a heartfelt speech, congratulating the students on their achievements and wishing them success in their future endeavors. He also addressed the gathering, expressing pride in the graduating batch and highlighting the importance of their contributions to the university.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement and nostalgia as students, faculty members, and guests came together to celebrate the academic journey of the final-year students. The performances and speeches left a lasting impression, with many students expressing their gratitude for the time they spent at Eastern University.
Today’s farewell program not only marked the end of an academic chapter for the final-year students but also showcased the vibrant community spirit of Eastern University. As the students bid farewell to their university days, they leave with cherished memories and a sense of accomplishment, ready to embark on the next chapter of their lives.
