Eastern University has emerged victorious in the ATN Bangla Shadow Parliament Debate Competition organized by Debate for Democracy, defeating Bangladesh University in the final round on 27/12/2024.
The event was held with great enthusiasm and a large audience of students. The Chief Guest for the ceremony was the Honorable Attorney General Advocate Mohammad Asaduzzaman who graced the occasion with his presence. The President of Debate for Democracy, Hasan Ahmed Kiran, presided over the event and delivered an inspiring speech.
Fatema Tuj Johura, Tanvir Ahmed, Kaniz Fatema Ritu, Najmul Islam Roton and Abu Nasir Al Rakib from Eastern University participated in the debate competition, displaying outstanding debating skills and teamwork to secure the championship.
The ceremony was attended by the Honorable Registrar Dr. Abul Basher khan, Debating Club Coordinator and Lecturer of the Law Department Moumita Rahman Eipshita, Deputy Director of Student Affairs, Mr. K.M. Monirul Islam, faculty members and students of Eastern University.
