Milestone College Dakshinkhan holds a joyful fresher's reception with the determination to realize the cherished dreams of an academic life. On this day (31 December 2024), the new students of class XI in the 2024-25 academic year were ceremonially welcomed with floral greetings. Principal of the Milestone College Dakshinkhan Professor M.A. Mannan presided over the Captivating ceremony while Principal of the Milestone college Mohammad Ziaul Alam was present as the chief guest. Directors of the Milestone College Dakshinkhan Mrs. Falguni Adhikari, Md. Motasim Billah, Assistant Director Mrs. Bilkis Akhter and Administrative Officer Md. Masum Reza were present among others.

Principal of Milestone College Dakshinkhan Professor M.A. Mannan welcomed everyone to the charming fresher's reception program. In his welcome speech, he emphasized the responsibilities of college life, education and progress for a student. Professor M.A. Mannan also discussed the environment, facilities and quality of education of the college so that students can improve according to their potential.

The chief guest of the fresher's reception program, Milestone College Principal Mohammad Ziaul Alam said that the true purpose of education is to develop people's self-esteem, personality and self-reliance. The chief guest highly praised the founder of the college Colonel Nuran Nabi (Retd.) for the expected progress in academic and infrastructural and expressed his sincere gratitude to all the teachers, students and parents.

On this joyous day, students participated in the college's cultural program and presented a captivating program. The talent and creativity of the students are revealed through various cultural programs which touch the hearts of all present. The aesthetic cultural program makes the college atmosphere festive and creates a unique feeling of unity and cooperation among the students.
