A festivie Pitha Utsab was organized at Islamic University (IU) campus by Roktima, a blood donation organization, on Monday morning with a joyful atmosphere. The event, which started at 10:30 am at Bottola Chattar, attracted a large number of students who flocked to sample an array of traditional pithas.
The Pitha Utsab offered a delightful variety of pithas including Puli, Pakan, Pati Shapta, Nobabi Shemai, Shahi Tukra, Shahi Firni, Shahi Jorda, Pudding, Carrots Borphi, Club Sandwich Dudh Chitai and many more. Students gathered at the venue to indulge in the mouth-watering treats, enjoying the cultural significance.
IU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Nokib Muhammad Nasrullah graced the occasion as a special guest, accompanied by Students Advisor Professor Dr. Obaydul Islam, TSCC Head Professor Dr. Zakir Hossain, Lalon Shah Hall Provost Professor Dr. Akhter Hossain and Roktima's adviser Professor Dr. Meher Ali.
