Comilla University (CoU) has announced the schedule for the undergraduate (honor's) first-year admission tests for the 2024-25 academic session. Candidates can apply from 2 February and the tests will begin in April 2025. The information was shared through a press release signed by the university’s Public Relations Officer, Emdadul Haque, on Thursday (January 16).
According to the decision of the university's admission committee, the ‘C’ unit's (Faculty of Business Studies) test will be held on April 19 at 10 AM. The ‘A’ unit (Faculty of Science) and ‘B’ unit's (Faculty of Arts, Humanities, Social Science, and Law) test is scheduled on May 3 at 10 AM and at 3 PM on the same day.
The decision was finalized during a central admission committee meeting, presided over by CoU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Haidar Ali, at his office on Thursday morning.
The university administration announced that students can apply for the admission tests online 24/7, even on holidays, from February 2 to February 22, 2025. Details about the application process will be published very soon on the CoU website and other media platforms.
Earlier, in the 102nd syndicate meeting held on January 14, the university officials finally decided to move away from the cluster admission system and conduct its admission tests independently.
