The Dhaka University (DU) undergraduate admission test for the Faculty of Arts, Law, and Social Sciences for the academic year 2024–25 is scheduled to begin on January 25. In addition to DU, the exam will be held at seven regional centers, including Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) in Mymensingh. However, navigating unfamiliar locations often poses challenges for candidates and their guardians.

In response, BAU students have launched an updated version of the mobile application “Exam Hall Finder,” designed to simplify the process of locating exam halls and identifying the easiest routes to reach them. Candidates can input their roll numbers to access detailed hall locations and directions. The app is accessible via the link https://bie.bau.edu.bd/ExamHall/.

The updated version of the app was developed under the supervision of Associate Professor Mesbah Uddin from the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology. The development team comprises Anik Howlader (third-year), Muhammad Ishmamul Haque (second-year), and Md. Asifuzzaman (first-year), all from the Department of Bioinformatics Engineering.

Associate Professor Mesbah Uddin emphasized the broader benefits of the project, noting, “This kind of real-world problem-solving provides invaluable experience for students, equipping them with skills for their professional careers. It also moves the university closer to a more automated future.”
