CVASU changes names of 4 residential halls

Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) four residential halls named have been changed.

The decision was taken at the 59th syndicate meeting of the university on Sunday.

Two halls located on the main campus of the university have been named after Bir Muktijoddha Abdullah Al Noman Hall and Bijoy-2024 Hall. On the other hand, two halls located in Hathazari Research and Farm-based campus of the university have been named after Dr. Nazir Ahmed Hall and Begum Rokeya Hall.

CVASU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Lutfur Rahman presided over the meeting.

Prof Dr. Masuma Habib, Member, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, Prof Dr. Md. Ahsanul Haque, Director, CVASU One Health Institute, Prof Dr. AKM Saifuddin, Director (Outdoor Activities), Prof Dr. Md. Masuduzzaman, Department of Pathology and Parasitology, Bangladesh Agricultural University Dr. Mohammad Mosharraf Uddin Bhuiyan, Prof of Parasitology Department, Former Dean of the Faculty of Marine Sciences and Fisheries of Chittagong University Prof Dr Md Shafiqul Islam, Prof of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Department of Rajshahi University Dr Shah Md Abdur Rouf, Director General of the Department of Livestock Services Dr Md Abu Sufian, Additional Secretary (Development) Md Maruf Hasan and CVASU Registrar Mirza Faruk Imam were present on the occasion.
