Southeast University (SEU) proudly welcomes Mehidy Hasan Miraz, a distinguished all-rounder of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team, as he embarks on his academic journey at the university. Miraz has enrolled in the Department of English at SEU to pursue his undergraduate degree, demonstrating his commitment to both education and sports on Tuesday, 11 February 2025.
After the formal admission process Prof. Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of SEU and Prof. Dr. M Mofazzal Hossain, Pro Vice Chancellor, warmly welcomed Mehidy Hasan Miraz to the SEU family. Several faculty members and university officials were also present.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Islam expressed his delight, stating, Miraz’s dedication to both academics and cricket is truly inspiring. We wish him great success in balancing his studies with his sporting career and hope he serves as a role model for aspiring students.
Miraz expressed his excitement, stating, "Education has always been important to me and my family. I am grateful to be a proud student of Southeast University.
