On Monday (9 October), The Russian House in Dhaka (RHD) organized an educational seminar regarding opportunities for higher studies in Russia in the academic year 2024-2025, with the possibility of receiving scholarships provided by the Government of the Russian Federation.
The Director of the Russian House in Dhaka, Mr. Pavel Dvoychenkov, delivered updated data on the Russian education system and detailed the application process and submission of documents to candidates on the online platform https://education-in-russia.com.
He said that Bangladeshi students can study at any university designated for scholarship in Russia and talked about the world-class higher education and professional prospects of Russian alumni, who hold various senior positions in various public services, private companies and higher education institutions in Bangladesh. He reminded that in the last academic year 2023-2024, 110 scholarships were allocated. The number of scholarships increased to 124 in the academic year 2024-2025 due to the huge interest of Bengali nationals in higher education in Russia.
Mrs. Yasmin Sultana, teacher of the Russian language course at Russian House in Dhaka, was also present in the meeting. He reassured that Bangladeshi students have job opportunities in any country in the world, including Bangladesh, after completing their studies at any university in Russia. Besides, he also suggested to all those interested in higher education in Russia that they learn the Russian language at the Russian House in Dhaka in advance.
At the end of the seminar, People's Friendship University of Russia (PFUR) Ph.D. student and President of Bangla Press Club, Mr. Barek Kaiser, and Dr. Mahmudul Hasan, MD (Oncosurgery), National Medical Research Center of Oncology named after N.N. Blokhin, joined the video conference. They congratulated the seminar participants and informed them about the modern Russian education system and the current practical experience of studying in Russia, as well as the current lifestyle of the friendly Russian people. They recommend applying for a scholarship offered by the Russian government as soon as possible to study at a Russian university to get access to world-class higher education at a low cost.
The audience got answers to various questions they expected from the education section.
