Actress Sharmin Zoha Shoshee and actor Imtiaz Barshon have teamed up for the serial drama 'Kusumkotha,' written and directed by Matia Banu Shukur for BTV.
In the drama serial, Shoshee plays the character Kusum, and Imtiaz Barshon portrays Kamal.
Sharmin Zoha Shoshee said, "I have become very selective in choosing my projects. If I don't like the story, I won't take it up. The story of 'Kusumkotha' really appealed to me, and as soon as I heard it, I agreed to work on the project. Furthermore, everyone involved in this serial drama is very talented and dedicated, and it has been a great experience working with them. Imtiaz Barshon, my co-artiste, is also excellent. I'm delighted to work on this project."
For Imtiaz Barshon, this is his first time working with Shoshee. He shared his thoughts on his character and working with Shoshee, saying, “The story of the 'Kusumkotha' serial drama is truly compelling, and such stories are not commonly made nowadays. It's a pleasure to be part of such a project. Additionally, Shoshee is an incredibly talented and hardworking actress. It's truly enjoyable to work alongside her, and I hope the audience will appreciate our efforts.”
