Arifur Zaman Arif's directorial debut movie, 'Jontrona,' starring actors Ador Azad, Manoshi Prokrity, and debutant Saima Smrity, is set for a countrywide release on November 10.
The director himself confirmed this news. Ahead of the release, the movie's song, poster, and trailer have already been unveiled.
Director Arif said, “This is my debut as a film director, and I have put my best effort into it. I hope everyone enjoys the movie. We urge everyone to come to the theater and have an enjoyable experience.”
Ador Azad said, “The movie is based on a love story and offers a unique storyline. The story is crafted with contemporary themes in mind. This is my first collaboration with Manoshi Prokrity, and I hope the audience will enjoy the film upon its release.”
Actress Prokrity said, “The movie features a compelling storyline and interesting characters. I did my best in portraying my character, but there's always room for improvement. The story is filled with twists and turns, and I aimed to bring my character to life as effectively as possible. It's been a while since I appeared on the big screen, so I'm excited to see how the audience receives me. I hope the audience enjoys the movie due to its engaging story and characters.”
Saima Smrity, a debutant actress in the movie, said, “I'm making my debut with this film, and the expectations are high. I wanted to begin my journey with a good story, and 'Jontrona' is such a story. I put in my best effort to portray my character. As the release date approaches, I'm feeling a bit nervous, but I can confidently say that the audience won't be disappointed. Everyone is invited to watch the film, and we hope our debut pair will be well-received.”
Produced by Smart Multimedia, the movie features four songs performed by Akash Sen, Kona, Beli Afroz, Milon, Atiya Anisha, Oyon Chakladar, and Kornia. The background music for the movie is composed by the National Film Award-winning music director Emon Saha.
The movie also features Shatabdi Wadud, Don, Borda Mithu, Ashraf Kabir, Shohel Rashid, Zahid, Parvez Masum, and others in various roles.
Earlier, the movie was scheduled for release on October 27.
