Popular singer Sania Sultana Liza tied the knot with mechanical engineer, businessman, and politician Sobuj Khandokar last year in a private ceremony attended by close family members. While initially planning to announce their marriage at the end of this year along with a post-marriage reception, the news of their marriage was unexpectedly revealed.
Liza said, “I first met Sobuj while performing at a show in the United States, and love blossomed between us. We decided to get married in December of last year with the blessings of both families. Due to our busy professional schedules, the ceremony was postponed. Unfortunately, news of our marriage surfaced before the planned announcement.”
“However, Alhamdulillah for everything. My husband and I share a deep understanding. Mutual understanding is the foundation of our relationship. I sought a life partner who would respect my profession, love me, and embrace my family, and my husband is exactly that. I am grateful to Allah for blessing me with him as my life partner. We seek everyone’s prayers for our happiness and well-being,” the singer added.
It’s noteworthy that Sobuj Khandokar’s village house is located in Sonaimuri, Noakhali.
