Renowned actress Deepa Khandakar is set to take on a negative role in the upcoming TV drama ‘Mashrafe Junior,’ directed by Sazzad Shuman. In this series, she will portray the character named Sonia, marking her return to a negative role after a considerable hiatus.
Deepa Khandakar shared her excitement about the role, saying, “While I initially began with a positive presence in the TV drama, my character is fundamentally negative. I naturally developed an interest in portraying this role. I have already completed three days of shooting for the TV drama.
I can’t recall if I have worked under Sazzad Shuman’s direction before, but this time it feels like a positive experience. The series has already garnered significant attention from the audience. I hope viewers will appreciate my distinct character in the drama.”
Meanwhile, today marks Deepa Khandakar’s birthday. Speaking about her birthday plans, she said, “I don’t have any work commitments on my birthday. I plan to celebrate the day in a special way with my husband (actor Shahed Ali) and our two children, Adrik and Arohi. We expect the company of some close friends. I seek everyone’s good wishes.”
Deepa Khandakar also shared that she will soon wrap up filming for the remaining scenes of the movie ‘Dark World,’ directed by Mostafizur Rahman Manik, where she is paired with Misa Sawdagar.
