Popular singer Abanti Sithi is going to tie the knot with UK expat Amit De on December 15 at a convention center in Mirpur, Dhaka.
Amit De, a resident of London, is currently employed in a finance firm after completing his studies in accounting. Abanti Sithi confirmed the news of her impending marriage to the media.
Abanti Sithi said, “We didn't even know each other eight months ago. Amit is a great singer and we met because we were supposed to sing a song together. The song didn't happen but the marriage did.”
Abanti also said that Amit De is expected to arrive in Dhaka on December 8 for the wedding ceremony.
Abanti Sithi gained popularity in both Kolkata and Bangladesh through her impressive performances on television shows such as India’s ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ and Bangladesh’s ‘Close Up 1.’
